About Nepal
Nepal

A landlocked country lying between India and China, Nepal contains Mount Everest (8,850 meters), the tallest mountain in the world. It is also the land where the Enlightened One, Lord Gautama Buddha was born and attained enlightenment at Lumbini in Nepal. Nepal has a strip of level land that is partly forested and partly cultivated. North of that lies the slope of the main section of the Himalayan range, including Mount Everest and many other peaks standing over 8,000 meters.
